If you are involved in an accident, always practice safety first.
- Be sure to move to a safe location and call 911 if necessary.
- If the accident is involving bodily injury, it must be reported to police department in the community in which it occurred.
- You should then contact the rental car company's Emergency Assistance Line, located in your rental contract.
- You must provide copies of all documents to the rental car company.
Please check with your insurance company before renting a vehicle to ensure that you are fully covered and/or take additional insurance, as the renter is responsible for any damages to the vehicle.
